Important Changes for 2026
Effective Session 1 - 2026
- Class fees will increase to $100.00 per 7 week session
- HVOC will no longer accept checks for class payments
These changes will be implemented after Session 5 - 2025 closes and before Session 1 - 2026 is opened.
Session 1 (January 2026)
Registration Opens:
Beginner 1 - Dec 11th after 10:00am
Puppy & Beginner 2 - Dec 12th after 10:00am
All Other Classes - Dec 12th after 2:00pm
Please check the Class Registration Schedule for classes being offered for Session 1. This schedule lists all classes being offered this session including the day. time, and current status. Availability is subject to change as circumstances change.
Orientation:Jan 17th (8:45am - 11am)
Class Starts:Jan 20th & 21st
Class Ends: Mar 3rd & 4th
Session 5 (October 2025)
Registration Closed
Class Starts: Oct 28th & 29th
Class Ends: Dec 9th &10th
Please Note: There is no glitch, bug, or error in the program. There is nothing that needs or can be fixed.
Each class has a specific number of students that can be enrolled. When that number is reached, the program automatically turns off registration for that class.
There are two options available when closing a class: "sold out" or "out of stock". We use the "sold out" option because we cannot place an order for additional slots. Unfortunately that does mean that if someone is in the middle of registering their dog in that class, their shopping cart is emptied. Often we have more people waiting for a class to be opened than we have slots.
We cannot use the "out of stock" option. That option assumes that we would be placing an order for additional classes AND the system would continue enrolling students and putting them on back order. No one back ordered would get into the class unless we had sufficient cancellations.
Class Registration Information
There is a charge of $100.00 for each seven-week, 45-50 minute obedience class. There are no refunds.
Hidden Valley Obedience Club of North San Diego County, Inc., is a non-profit corporation.
To finalize your enrollment in the class, specify PayPal or Puppy Paws (Club members only) for your class fee.
We must receive payment to confirm your place in the class, otherwise a standby may be given your place in that class. Payment and vaccination records must be received within seven (7) days after registering for the class.
Class size is limited. If the class fills with paid students before your payment is received, you will be given an opportunity to re-schedule at a later date or your money will be refunded.
To register for a class, please follow these brief instructions:
- Log in (returning students) or register for an account (new students).
- Select a class from the categories box to the left. Please check the requirements from the displayed to ensure that you meet the requirements. Those are available when you click on the class and also on the classes page on the main website.
- Complete all of the required information (Dog's Name, Dog's Breed, Dog's Age, Training Completed, Spay/Neuter, Dog's Gender, etc.)
- Add the class to your shopping cart.
- Click on the Checkout button to register for the class.
- Select the type of Payment.
- Confirm the order. Please check to make sure that you are registering for the class you want and that all information is correct.
- Send in your payment.
- If you are signing up for a Puppy, Beginner I or Beginner II class, fill in the student and dog profile
- If you are applying for a Junior Handler Scholarship, download a copy of the scholarship application.
After you have clicked on the Confirm Order button the registration will be forwarded to our Class Registrar. You will be notified by E-mail regarding your position in the class. If you do not see a page that says "Thank You! We Appreciate Your Business" your registration was not completed.
