Class Registration Information

There is a charge of $90.00 for each seven-week, one-hour obedience class.  There are no refunds.

Hidden Valley Obedience Club of North San Diego County, Inc., is a non-profit corporation.

To confirm your enrollment in the class, use PayPal or mail a check for your class fee to:

We do not have postal service at the field. All mail must be sent to our PO Box.

We must receive payment to ensure your place in the class, otherwise a standby can be given your place in that class.

Class size is limited.  If the class fills with paid students before your payment is received, you will be given an opportunity to re-schedule at a later date or your money will be refunded.

To register for a class, please follow these brief instructions:

  1. Log in (returning students) or register for an account.
  2. Select a class from the categories to the left.
  3. Complete all of the required information (Dog's Name, Dog's Breed, Dog's Age, Training Completed, Spay/Neuter, and Dog's Gender.
  4. Add the class to your shopping cart.
  5. Click on the Checkout button to register for the class.
  6. Select the type of Payment.
  7. Confirm the order.
  8. Send in your payment.  Write the name of your dog and the class on the check or enter that information into PayPal.
  9. If you are signing up for a Puppy, Beginner I or Beginner II class, download a copy of the student and dog profile in Word format or pdf format.
  10. If you are applying for a Junior Handler Scholarship, download a copy of the scholarship application.

After you have clicked on the Confirm Order button the registration will be forwarded to our Class Registrar.  You will be notified by E-mail regarding your position in the class.  If you do not see a page that says "Thank You!  We Appreciate Your Business" your registration was not completed.

If you do not receive e-mail confirmation within two weeks after paying, please contact us via email.

If you have problems signing up for a class, please contact us via email.

HotMail Email Addresses
 
There are problems with hotmail email addresses. We are aware of the problem.
 
If you are using a hotmail email address, your confirmation emails will bounce.
 
You will be contacted after registration by one of our registration team, however that may take some time. If at all posible, please register with another (non-hotmail) email address.
 
You can check on your orders by logging into the registration system, then selecting "My Account". A list of your previous orders should be displayed.

Mask Wearing on HVOC'S Field
 
Per the latest CDC guidelines, masks are no longer required on the field if you are fully immunized. If you are not, you may still participate, but you may want to consider wearing a mask.
 
Remember the Covid 19 immunizations only fully protect you against serious illness, hospitalizations and death. None will give you 100% protection from illness, particularly against the new variants. A mild infection may result in long term debilitating effects. So use your best judgement knowing the risks,

Covid-19 Field Requirements

Required to attend classes and while on HVOC's field and parking areas:

  • Park your vehicle in the parking area at least 6 feet apart from any other vehicle.
  • Wait in your vehicle until just before your class time, then you may enter the field.  Don't enter the field early!
  • Avoid allowing your dog to interact with other dogs or people.
  • It is required that you bring your own chair, treats for your dog, and treat pouch to wear.
  • Bring your own poop bags.
  • Your dog is to wear its own collar and 4 or 6 foot leash.  NO extending leashes allowed.

Covid-19 Symptoms

If you have any of the following symptoms, please stay home.  You will not be permitted on the field:

  • Fever or chills
  • Cough
  • Shortness of breath or difficulty breathing
  • Fatigue
  • Muscle or body aches
  • Headache
  • New loss of taste or smell
  • Sore throat
  • Congestion or runny nose
  • Nausea or vomiting
  • Diarrhea
